Neurofeedback Dynamical

Train your Brain today

Our brain is unique in its complexity and ability; it determines our daily habits, establishes mindset and creates function. We train for the discovery of what our brain is capable of. We train for promoting wellness.

What is it?

It is a completely harmless brain training solution, with countless benefits reported.

NeurOptimal® dynamic neurofeedback is a self-regulation training for neural networks. It is a non-invasive process that reads brain activity 256 times per second through software, which then provides feedback via sound in real time with the intent of self-correcting neuronal activity.

When alerted to its own activity, the brain reorganises itself, leading to positive mental, physical, and emotional changes.

Benefits

Among the many reported benefits, dynamic neurofeedback may help with the following:

  • Stress

  • Anxiety / Panic

  • Sports performance

  • Academic performance

  • Migraines

  • Insomnia

  • Learning / concentration difficulties

  • Increased focus / concentration

  • Chronic pain

  • Addictions

  • Memory

  • Parkinson's

  • Alzheimer's

  • Phobias

  • OCD

  • Autism

  • Depression

  • Burnout

  • Hyperactivity

  • Fatigue

Each person is unique, and each brain is different. Therefore, everyone will have their own "timing" and response curve to the training, and sometimes improvements may appear in areas where we weren't focused on enhancing.

How a dynamical neurofeedback session works?

First, we will focus on your individual needs and comfort. Before starting, we will have a conversation to discuss what brought you here and review your medical history. Then, you can choose a comfortable position—many clients like to relax, and some even prefer lying down. Small sensors will be gently placed on your head and ears, and you will listen to music for 33 minutes. During this time, you will be able to observe your brainwave activity on the screen as the system monitors and responds to your brainwave patterns.

If you are concerned about your child sitting still for 33 minutes, do not worry. They are welcome to play games or engage in other activities while the system reads their brainwaves. We have noticed that after a few sessions, children often will begin to relax and even rest comfortably during the entire session.

How can Counseling and Neurofeedback help?

  • Provides an opportunity to learn about the source and impact of stressors;

  • Increases flexibility and resilience with both physical and emotional challenges and

  • Creates an opportunity for the parasympathetic nervous system to do it’s job.

Here are the types of services we offer:

  • 33-minute Neurofeedback session at your location;

  • 33-minute Neurofeedback session at our office or

  • 60-minute combined Counselling and Neurofeedback session at our office.

The Brain and NeurOptimal®

The brain is an extremely dynamic organ, constantly interacting with the environment and people's actions. For decades, health professionals have recognised that stimulating the brain can help overcome certain central nervous system dysfunctions.

Recent neuroscience research shows that the brain can regenerate through use and training.

Thanks to its neuroplasticity—its ability to modify, adapt, and renew itself throughout life—the brain has natural self-regulation capabilities. It only needs to be alerted to this potential.

NeurOptimal® teaches the brain to become more flexible and resilient. Resilience is the brain's ability to return to its natural state, especially after unusual or critical situations.

Without imposing specific directives, the NeurOptimal® neurofeedback system interacts with the central nervous system to improve neural plasticity. A more flexible brain adapts and responds faster, more appropriately, and with greater balance to environmental changes. The easier the brain adapts to daily challenges, the more the person experiences a sense of well-being. However, a lack of flexibility in the brain can lead to feelings of exhaustion and heightened stress throughout the day.

Who can do it?

Everyone can train their brain, and increase and improvement in our abilities. While results may be similar, they are specific to each i
ndividual. Every brain is unique and follows its own process of transformation and change.
